Deejay Young is an Award Winning Entertainer, Singer/Songwriter, & International Recording Artist, from Tampa, FL.

Having starting singing at the age of 3 in the church choir as a young child, he began to perform professionally and starred in the gospel-theatrical stage play, "Daddy Please Don't Leave", with a local gospel singing group at the tender age of 5.

Young has developed a strong, eclectic musical and performance style which his which crosses all boundaries of Music, from R&B to Soul, & Gospel, to Hip-Hop & Jazz.

Young has appeared on WeTV's Hit Television Show "Mary Mary" as the Grammy Award Winning Duo personally chose him as the 2014 Raise Your Voice Singing Contest Winner.

He has shared the stage with many phenomenal artists like Yolanda Adams, KEM, Montell Jordan, and More.

Some of his Musical influences include Michael Jackson, Prince, Brandy Norwood & Kim Burrell.
